At Solstice Farm we are standing the Friesian stallion Alex for all breed stud. He is registered with the German Friesian registry, FPVZ. Alex was carefully selected and purchased by Solstice Farm for his large size, forward moving athleticism, refined modern features and exceptional pedigree. His sire is the imported German approved Grand Champion stallion Laes. His dam is an imported 17.2 hand German registered brood mare with impressive movement and modern conformation.

Alex was the highest scoring foal in the Northwest U.S. and Canada at the 2000 Friesian keuring in Princeton, British Columbia largely because of his amazing extension at the walk. Needless to say, Alex has a very exciting future at Solstice Farm and will be available for limited crossbreeding bookings in the spring of 2002.
